The two-step entry process to Cuba is to first pass through Immigration then through Customs. This usually takes about 1 hour.
The Cuban Immigration area consists of about 10 booths with individual lines. Choose any line. While in line you may be questioned by plain-clothed Cuban Security personnel. Do not be alarmed. This is normal procedure. Welcome to Cuba.
When your turn comes, present your passport and your filled-out Cuban Tourist Visa Card (see example photo) to the uniformed immigration officer in the booth. Do not lose your half of your tourist visa card! You will be required to present it to Cuban Immigration upon departure.

8:00 PM Group Dinner Atelier Restaurant
Located in Vedado, not far from the Melia Habana hotel, L’Atelier is a sweet spot of great food, atmosphere, and service that make it a stand-out among Havana’s best restaurants. The menu features international and Cuban classics – including a beautiful confit of local duck and, of course, ropa vieja. (an amazingly good version, in a pleasantly modest serving).

10:00 PM Show at Habana Café
Habana Café is Cuba’s answer to the ubiquitous Hard Rock Café. Decorated with 1950s memorabilia, including an old plane hanging from the ceiling, as well as a convertible Chevrolet and a 1957 Buick, Habana Café is located inside Hotel Melia Cohiba, in the heart of Vedado, facing the Malecón and across the road from Jazz Café. This venue works as a restaurant that offers musical shows every night. The food is a fusion between international recipes and traditional Cuban cuisine. Be sure to check the program, since members of the legendary Buena Vista Social Club are frequent performers here. Excellent rum selection.

10:15 AM Walking Tour of Old Havana - Old Havana
Wear comfortable shoes and plenty of sun protection for this moderately paced walk over approximately 1.5 miles of cobblestone streets and plazas. The tour is in the pedestrian-only “Historic Center” of Old Havana. You’ll have ample opportunities for rest and refreshment about the history of the original settlement and development of Havana. You’ll visit the workshop and gallery of the Center for Experimental Graphic Arts, and pass famed Hemingway watering-hole the Bodeguita del Medio. When leaving Cathedral Plaza, you’ll pass Piscolabis, a small shop run by a collective of independent designers. Pop-in if you want something different from the usual curios.

We will also visit the Havana Old Car Museum
This museum has a very well preserved and interesting collection of old automobiles, among which are the noteworthy Thunderbird, Pontiac, and Ford T, among others. It houses automobiles related to specific people and others antiquated vehicles.
1:00 PM Lunch: La Bodeguita del Medio
La Bodeguita del Medio is a typical restaurant-bar of Havana (Cuba). It is a famous tourist destination because of the personalities which have patronized it: Salvador Allende, the poet Pablo Neruda, the artist Josignacio and many others. La Bodeguita lays claim to being the birthplace of the Mojito cocktail, prepared in the bar since its opening in 1942, although this is disputed. The rooms are full of curious objects, frames, photos, as well as the walls covered by signatures of famous or unknown customers, recounting the island's past.

6:00 PM Classic Convertible City Tour
Taking in the essential sights of Havana in a Classic Car in Havana captures the colonial spirit of Cuba’s remarkable capital city. Dating back to the 16th century, Old Havana is steeped in history and flanked by old colonial buildings. You also can take you on a unique panoramic drive along the Malecon promenade towards Morro Cabana (Castle). The castle guards the entrance to Havana’s harbor and offers magnificent views across to the Havana skyline.
7:30 PM Dinner at Café Laurent
Talk about a hidden gem. The unsigned Café Laurent is a sophisticated fine-dining restaurant encased, incongruously, in a glaringly ugly 1950s apartment block next to the Focsa building. Starched white tablecloths, polished glasses and lacy drapes furnish the bright modernist interior, while seafood risotto and artistically presented pork sautéed with dry fruit and red wine headline the Cuban-Spanish menu.
